Granite Mine “Gniewków” Ltd. (Kopalnia Granitu “Gniewków” Sp. z o.o.) belongs to the group of the largest and most modern companies of the aggregates industry in Poland. It was established on the basis of a privatised aggregates production plant in March 1992. On 30 May 2007 the Olsztyn Mineral Resources Mines Ltd. (Olsztyńskie Kopalnie Surowców Mineralnych Sp. z o.o.) purchased 100% of shares of the Granite Mine “Gniewków” Ltd. from the Franz Carl Nudling Basaltwerke GmbH +Co.Kg company. The object of the Company’s activities includes the exploitation of the granite raw material from two excavations for making blocks and for the production of aggregates.
